In short: Détente collects no personal data. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and it makes no network connections. Your progress stays on your device.
Who we are
Frontier Collective makes Détente and is responsible for this policy. Contact us at admin@frontiercollective.ai.
What the game stores
Your progress (regions, stars, gold, Leverage, weekly results and the isles you draw) and your settings (music, look and theme) are saved on your device, in the app's own storage. They never leave it, and we can't see them. Deleting the app deletes them. If you back up your device to iCloud or a computer, Apple includes them in that backup under its own terms.
What we collect
Nothing. We don't collect, receive, sell or share any information about you or your device. The game contains no third-party code for analytics, advertising, crash reporting or tracking, and its App Store privacy label says "Data Not Collected".
Apple
The Diplomat subscription is sold and managed by Apple through the App Store. Apple processes the payment under its privacy policy; we receive no payment or personal details, only Apple's confirmation that the subscription is active, which stays on your device. If you have chosen in your device's settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may show us anonymous, combined statistics such as crash counts and how many people opened the app. These don't identify you, and you can turn them off in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.
If you write to us
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply. That is in our legitimate interest in answering you. We keep the conversation for up to 12 months after our last reply and then delete it, or sooner if you ask. Our email provider stores it for us.
This website
These pages are static: no cookies, no scripts, no analytics and no forms. They are hosted on Amazon Web Services, which processes your IP address as needed to deliver the pages and protect the service. We don't keep access logs.
Children
Détente is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, children included. If a child writes to us, we use the message only to reply. A parent can ask us to delete it at any time.
Your rights
Under privacy law (the Australian Privacy Act 1988, and the UK and EU GDPR where they apply) you can ask to see, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. The only personal data we might hold is an email you sent us. To ask, write to admin@frontiercollective.ai; we answer within one month. You can also complain to a data protection authority: in Australia, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner; in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office; in the EU, your national data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new date. A change that would collect any data is also shown in the app, and needs your agreement, before it applies.
